Blyde River Canyon Lodge is an idyllic sanctuary which lays in a shallow valley, soaring cliffs on one side and the tranquil flow of the Blyde River on the other. Places of water are places of life!  Not only are the water courses of the Blyde River  well populated with hippo and crocodiles, the Reserve is home to nyala, impala, wildebeest, zebra, Bushbuck, duiker, steenbuck, Kudu and bushpig.  The towering Northern Drakensberg escarpment provides a canvas for nature to capture a masterpiece with each sunrise…experience it!

Our stylish en-suite rooms and one luxury cottage all lead out onto lush tranquil gardens and include satellite television, air conditioning and tea trays. A full buffet breakfast is served daily on the beautiful outside deck whilst watching the zebra and wildebeest wander by. Delicious lunches and dinners may be arranged and enjoyed under the African sky or by firelight on those winter nights in our warm and inviting dining room. When visiting us you can get acquainted with our hand reared impala, Mala, or our duikers, Tintin and Snoopy, who all love to be stroked, scratched and be the centre of attraction.

Room Details:
Nature’s style and African decor compliment the beauty of one of South Africa ’s top lodges. Accommodation comprises five (5) double/twin rooms and one (1) Honeymoon Suite. All rooms are tastefully furnished, have en-suite bathrooms, and are fully air-conditioned and equipped with satellite TV as well as tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a two bedroom, two bathroom luxury cottage set aside from the main lodge which offers a lovely living area. Both the cottage and the luxury rooms lead out onto the tranquil gardens.

Children 0 – 2 years are 10% & children between 2 – 12 years are half price sharing with an adult.
Children under the age of 12 years pay 50% of the adult rate when sharing.

46 - 90 days prior to arrival - 50%

CANCELLATION:
0 - 20 days prior to arrival - 100%
21 - 45 days prior to arrival - 50%
46 - 90 days prior to arrival - 25%

Cancellation fees are only levied if damages are incurred as a result of the cancellation. Should the accommodation be resold, cancellation fees will be refunded less a 5% handling fee. All reservations, amendments or cancellations are only valid if evidenced in writing by letter, fax or e-mail.
